“Fruit Trees Provide Sustainable Source of Organic Food”

Fruit trees are popular throughout the country for both landscape and practical reasons. In the past few years, demand for high quality organic fruit has increased dramatically as society has become more educated on both nutritional values and “green” issues. The cost of store bought fruit continues to rise, and our knowledge of pesticides and their dangers has made planting fruit trees an obvious investment.

If you plan to grow a fruit tree specifically for fruit production, be sure to select a dwarf fruit trees (rather than large, traditional varieties). These trees max out at a height of 15-20 feet on average, making them easy to harvest. You won’t have to compromise the taste of your favorite fruit to do this, as most popular varieties are available in dwarf varieties. For example, you can purchase Gala, Macintosh, Fuji, Red Delicious, Yellow Delicious, Jonathan, or a Granny Smith apple tree in dwarf varieties!

Whether you plant apple trees, peach trees, plum trees, or cherry trees, you can feel secure in the knowledge that you are providing a safe, organic fruit tree for your family to harvest from!
